Wouldn’t you like to look great naked?
Even if you’re reasonably active, you’ve probably noticed that you don’t look as good as you did at 21.
Very few guys do. Even guys who haven’t gained more than a pound or two since their school days likely have less muscular shoulders and arms, while their belly is beginning to bulge. The reason? It’s kind of scary:
The average guy loses 6 pounds of muscle between 30 and 50. That’s equivalent to about 10 percent of the total muscle in your body. And ALL the muscle in your right arm! From age 50 to 60, that muscle loss doubles! There goes your LEFT arm!
And, while muscle is slowly disappearing, the average guy packs on about 1 pound of body weight every year from 25 to 45. But since he’s also losing muscle, his fat gain can be even greater than the scale suggests! |
